Douglas L. Hail, Jr. Obtains Certified Financial Planner® Certification
Douglas L. Hail, Jr., Investment Strategist at Gardey Financial Advisors has obtained the Certified Financial Planner® designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Certification identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements, successfully completed course work, and passed the intensive CFP Certification Examination. The exam covers the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits and estate planning.
Hail has been employed at Gardey Financial Advisors since 2008. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Hail was previously a Senior Financial Manager for the Dow Chemical Company in Midland.
Gardey Financial Advisors Marks 25 Year Milestone
Gardey Financial Advisors begins its 25th year of business in 2010 as an independent investment manangement and financial planning firm. Gardey Financial Advisors was founded in 1985 by Chairman, Kim Gardey. The mission of the firm has always been to assist clients in achieving their life goals and maximizing the benefits of their financial resources with the highest degree of integrity and expertise.
Over the years, Gardey financial Advisors has grown from a one person office to a highly qualifed group of 18 employees, including six Certified Financial Planner® professionals. Members of the firm hold degrees in business, enconomics and finance. Previous work experiences include banking, teaching at the university level, insurance evaluation and the military. These staff memebers also serve on a number of the firm’s committees where their experties can be made available to all Gardey Financial Advisors’ clients. Gardey states that he is proud of the diverse, experienced team he has built over the first 25 years.
Gardey Financial Advisors prides itself on addressing the crucial concerns of clients, such as: How much do I need to put aside now so I can enjoy my retirement? and How much can I afford to spend in retirement without running out of money? The firm manages 200 million dollars for clients in 21 states from its office in Saginaw, Michigan.
